“Rooted, Resilient, Frogs & Venn Diagrams”

Introduction: ROOTED and RESILIENT. Living a vibrant, winsome and non- anxious presence in a troubled world.
Question: Does Process matter? In your Life, how much does the Process of how you do something matter? Is it What you do that matters? Or is it How you do something that matters?
John 15 Jesus cares a lot about the Process of being Rooted and Resilient.
Jesus also gives us a lot of insight into the Process of being Rooted and Resilient.
John 15 is a chapter about Process. What you do and the How you do it is really important.
Abide first. Love second. Testify third. Why do we get those out of order?
What can we learn from Amphibians?
What can we learn from Venn Diagrams?
To A.B.I.D.E looks like:
A – Allowing Access to your real life.
B – Being Still, and Being Present
I – Inviting Jesus into your day and everyday life.
D – Dialogue, developing an ongoing conversation with Jesus.
E – Expecting Jesus to show up in your life. When you’re expecting it you’re looking for it!
Questions to consider:
Have you considered that we are called to live between 2 worlds?
How can you remember the process of John 15 this week?
What if you wrote out, thought about and practiced the about ABIDE acronym this week?
Action items for the week:
Read John 15 daily. Meditate on it. Download the Pause App and listen to it daily.
