Today we take a look at Joshua. What was he doing before he took over for Moses?

- Deuteronomy 31:14-
God Chose Joshua. Promised that “I will be with you”
Joshua lived with Commitment. Strong and courageous by Believing, Trusting and Acting.

Why is commitment difficult?
What are the benefits of commitment?
Joshua 6 - The first big test of Joshua’s commitment. Vs 1- “Now the gates of Jericho were securely barred because of the Israelites. No one went out and no one came in.”
What are the challenges to being committed?
Joshua 11:23 - The climax of the Joshua story. 23 So Joshua took the entire land, just as the Lord had directed Moses, and he gave it as an inheritance to Israel according to their tribal divisions. Then the land had rest from war.
Joshua 24: Joshua was committed to the end of his life. 4 “Now fear the Lord and serve him with all faithfulness… as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

How is your character?
How are you doing Believing God, Trusting God and Acting on what He tells you?
How is your commitment? To God? To your marriage? To your family? To the Church?
Prayerfully ask God to show you where you need to be more committed.
