About the Author

PHIL PAYNE

Phil joined the MLCC staff in the summer of 2017 as Pastor of Leadership & Ministry Development. Phil earned his BS in Missions/Intercultural Studies from San Diego Christian College and an MA in Executive Leadership from Liberty University.

For the past 17 years Phil and his wife, Elizabeth, have been working in Student Ministry in Quito, Ecuador with International Teams/Youth World as well as developing a study abroad program for college students called Living and Learning International. Phil will continue to split his time between ministry at MLCC and in Ecuador. Phil and Elizabeth have 4 grown children and 15 grandchildren.
