Introduction

“Jesus increased in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and man.”

Matthew 22:36-40…

Our lives are most healthy and abundant when

we are in alignment with God and His Kingdom.

Growing in Favor with God is growing in divine influence on your heart.

Aligning our lives with the Kingdom of God must be our First priority…

Matthew 6:25-34

We align our lives with God’s Kingdom by practicing the Rhythms of Grace

A rule of life:  “A rhythm of practices that empower us to live well and grow more like Jesus by helping us experience God in everything.”

The basic spiritual disciplines – Celebration of Discipline.

The Inward Disciplines

Meditation, Prayer, Fasting, Study

The Outward Disciplines

Simplicity, Solitude, Submission, Service

The Corporate Disciplines

Confession, Worship, Guidance, Celebration

Matthew 11:28-30.

 TRAINING versus TRYING.

"Training allows us to do by default what we could never do by direct effort."

2 Corinthians 3:12-18.

Divine influence brings us into the abundant life that Christ promises.

John 10:7-10
