Sermon Series – “ The Big Story” - Creation - Corruption - Redemption – Restoration
Are we as Christians, disconnected from why Jesus came to Earth?
Luke 19:10 "For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save that which was lost."
We have to ask…what has been lost?
Jesus came to redeem and restore the World. Jesus came for all of society.
Luke 24: 1-53
Disciples were Disconnected and Disillusioned by the events surrounding Jesus’ death.
Disciples were Disconnected from the reason Jesus came to earth.
Disciples were Disconnected from the Big Story of God.
Disciples were Disconnected from their part in the Story of God.
Spiritual Myopia: Nearsightedness (myopia) is a common vision condition in which near objects appear clear, but objects farther away look blurry. The condition may develop gradually or rapidly.
Time with Jesus and God’s Word Reconnected the Disciples and addressed their Myopia.

Questions for us to consider:
Do I understand the Entire Story of God?
Am I living out the Entire Story of God?
Do I have Spiritual Myopia? Am I only paying attention to the things up Close to me?
How does God want to use you to be part of Restoring that which was lost?
